Along with a bit about her knitting journey, Alexa will be discussing her favourite topic: designing a colourwork yoke using the Strange Brew recipe. She will also be available for Q&A so bring all of your Tin Can Knits questions!

Alexa is one half of the design duo, Tin Can Knits. Along with her TCK partner Emily, she has been designing knitting patterns and books since 2010. Tin Can Knits is all about design, clear pattern writing, and useful tutorials, with patterns sized from baby to big. Alexa lives in Port Moody, British Columbia, with her partner Gary and their three kids. She spends most of her non-knitting time on cooking, photography, and other crafty pursuits.
