Polar Bear Note Cards
These Polar Bear Notecards are from the original artwork by artist Barbara Stone- "Longmont Yarn Shoppe" of 4 Polar Bears doing what they love around the LYS community table. Barbara Stone has used the image of polar bears exclusively in her artwork since 1980. Polar Bears and all bears are a beloved by LYS.
There is much symbolism in the artwork, including the 3 pregnant alpacas out the back window that were the first of the herd at Gail's sister's farm, Wabi Sabi Farm, in Wellington, CO. Kit, the first shoppe dog is relaxing on the couch with Gail's Grandmother's Granny Square Afghan. The sheep above the cabinet were a gift from Gail's in laws and converted into Polar Bears by the artist. The focal point of the print is the community table where members of the community can sit and knit, crochet, dream about their next project and make friends.
There is always room at the table for everyone at LYS. Always.
Available in singles or sets of 4. Printed on recycled paper.
Thank you for shopping small with Longmont Yarn Shoppe.
