Oh, this is a lovely little pattern to let the days go by while peacefully knitting away… There are no complex stitches in this cowl, just putting together some stripes, texture and lace as they suit you best.
Kit includes 1 skein each of three colors of Road to China Light by The Fibre Co. and download of the pattern to your Ravelry library. Please provide your Ravelry username at checkout.
Needles and notions used (not included in the kit): Needles: US 2½ (3mm) needles, stitch marker, tapestry needle.

We love this yarn, and it’s perfect for this cowl. Our store knitter was able to make some minor modifications of this pattern to get it done with 3 skeins of yarn instead of 5. It’s still a great size at 17 inches long by 26 sts around (no changes made to diameter, just length). Here are the mods made:
3 Color Cashmere Cowl Mods for 3 skeins of Road to China Light
- Decreased ribbing to 6 Rows instead of 8 (on both ends of the cowl)
- Decrease to 5 rows between eyelet on band 1 instead of 7 rows
- In band 2, omit 4 reams of the 4 row pattern.
