Rigid Heddle Loom Rental for LYS Weaving Students

We want to give students the opportunity to try weaving before making the investment in a loom. Because of that, looms are available to rent to students who are participating in our Beginner Level Weaving Classes for a nominal fee.

Students in a Beginner Rigid Heddle Class can rent one of our 8 Flip Looms or Cricket Looms. They do not have a stand. The Rigid Heddle Loom you will use will be determined at the first class. 

Looms will be waiting for you at class, at which point you will complete a check out sheet and provide a copy of your credit card to hold at the store in our safe until the loom is returned with all the parts at the conclusion of your class. 

Upon return of your loom and all components at the conclusion of class we will return the copy of your credit card. 

Should you decide to purchase a loom with Longmont Yarn Shoppe during the interval from the first day of class to the last day of class 2 things will happen.  

1.  You will be refunded for your loom rental cost
2.  You will enjoy a 10% student discount on the purchase of a loom and weaving supplies. This student discount is not extended after the last day of class. 

We currently only rent looms to students in our class. Depending on availability, looms may be available to rent for beyond beginner weaving classes.
