About the Pattern

Astro Pop was inspired by summer – with a nod to Mid-Century Modern style. Think: Atomic Ranch, Palm Springs, the Jetsons, and colorful popsicles on a summer day. This tee is an invitation to mix and match different colors, yarns, and fiber types to create your own cheerful summer style.

Construction
This lightweight, short-sleeve tee is knit top-down in the round (in one seamless piece). It features a circular yoke – with short row shaping along the back neckline for a comfortable fit. The vintage zig-zag details are worked with a needle two sizes larger to balance the gauge with the stockinette stitch. When the yoke is completed, it’s separated from the sleeves, and the lower body is worked in the round to the bottom edge. The sleeves are worked last.
