The wraps per inch butterfly is a handy little tool for measuring the thickness of any yarn. Simply wrap the yarn around into the inch wide notches. Compare the number of times your yarn fits in the slots with the key on the wings and you'll know if you've spun up a bulky, worsted or sport weight yarn.
