Extreme Knitting is the passion project of Durango, Colorado-based knitter and adventurer, Betsy Fitzpatrick. Since her adventures often include her knitting project, her photographer husband started capturing these "extreme knitting" images back in 2006. Having recently retired from a career in HR, Betsy is now looking to expand the scope of extreme knitting and highlight knitters in various locations who use knitting in unlikely ways, exotic locales, or to highlight social or political causes.
