Formerly known as the Longest Day event, this year's event is now Do What You Love! Longmont Yarn Shoppe is partnering with Ann Budd and Dianna Judge in designing the custom knit or crochet cowl; and with our local makers, Alexandra Baldwin of Alexandra the Art of Yarn for a beautiful bundle of yarn joy, and Jen Grant of A Ruby Moon, for the exclusive hand-printed project bag!
The kit includes:
- The project bag, hand-printed and exclusively designed by local maker, Jen Grant
- A purple ribbon stitch marker
- An LYS tape measure
- An ALZ.org notepad and pen
$10 from each kit sold will help fund Alzheimer’s research, care, and support programs.

- Fading Memories 2026 custom colorway yarn bundle made by local dyer Alexandra the Art of Yarn.
- Fading Memories Cowl pattern, knit version designed by Ann Budd; crochet version designed by Dianna Judge
