We're thrilled to be hosting this event once again at The Historical Occidental Hotel in Buffalo, WY. "The OX" is one of the most famous landmark hotels in Buffalo, WY.
With an abundance of beautiful views in this award-winning restoration of a
famous western hotel and the presence of live music filling the halls every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, this location is the perfect spot for us makers to enjoy the Big Horn Mountains and everything the local community has to offer.

The listed retreat fee does not include the cost of lodging; hotel lodging for the weekend is a additional fee and you will need to make a separate reservation for your room.
OPTION 1: The Occidental Hotel
The Occidental Hotel has blocked out rooms for this event. If you are needing accommodations to
stay at The Occidental Hotel, please call to reserve yourself a room at 307-684-0451.
**Discounts are available for shared rooms.**
OPTION 2: The Big Horn Motel
We also have additional lodging available at The Big Horn Motel just a few blocks away from The Occidental Hotel at a 12% off discount for the event.

Details & Pricing
Tickets to attend our Wild West Fiber Retreat 2025 are $449.99 per person.
Please keep in mind that lodging is a separate fee and will need to be reserved through your chosen lodging facility.

Retreat cost includes:

- Cocktails & Appetizers on Thursday evening (at The Occidental Hotel)

- Packed Lunch on Friday (from The Occidental Hotel)
- Brunch on Saturday (at The TA Ranch)

Carpooling is encouraged! Those who will be flying in from out of state, we recommend to fly into the airport in Sheridan, Wyoming.
Cancellation Policy
Our retreat cancellation policy is as follows:If you cancel your retreat registration prior to March 15, you receive a 75% Refund (25% non-refundable).
If you cancel your retreat registration between March 15 and 31st you receive a 50% Refund.
If you cancel your retreat registration after March 31st there is no refund available.
What to expect - The Retreat Itinerary
DAY ONE
Thursday
Check-in at The Occidental Hotel is at 3pm.
Beginning at 4pm we will have a Welcome Gathering with cocktails & appetizers in the lobby at The Occidental Hotel.
After our Welcome Gathering you have dinner and the evening on your own or with newly found friends.
We will provide dinner recommendations in your Welcome Email after sign-up.
DAY TWO
Friday
We will start our day with breakfast at The Busy Bee Cafe (located in The Occidental Hotel) followed with a privateFacility Tour and hand-dyeing class at Mountain Meadows Wool Mill. Each participant will dye two skeins of yarn in the class. We will have a packed lunch courtesy of The Occidental Hotel while touring Mountain Meadows Wool.
In the afternoon we'll have a private tour of the Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum.
Dinner is on your own with an open evening to craft.
DAY THREE
Saturday
On Saturday we will head just South of town for a History Tour & Wagon Ride on the historic
TA Ranch. Concluding our Wagon Ride we'll head into the main dining area for brunch followed by a Basque Dance performance.
After wrapping up our time at TA Ranch, we'll head back to The Occidental Hotel for an open afternoon to yourself! Feel free to spend the afternoon shopping downtown, crafting in the lobby, or taking a nap!
Dinner is on your own with an open evening to craft.

DAY FOUR
Sunday
We will wrap up our weekend of fun with brunch in The Virginian Room at The Occidental Hotel followed by a Ranch Tour at the Camino Ranch. We will then depart for home to share the new-found memories with our loved ones.
