"The retreat was great! I met a group of wonderful people. I enjoyed learning about the wool industry in the Buffalo area and Karen's talk about the mill and how her simple idea that began at a kitchen table became a successful business was inspiring! "The retreat was awesome! The Occidental Hotel was perfect- it was part of the history of the area which was integral to everything we did. Lobby was a great venue for meeting and knitting. Food was great and dinners on our own was a good idea. It gave me a bit of down time to absorb & process the day. Everyone was over the top friendly and passionate about what they were sharing were it the hotel staff, the Basque dancers, dyers or historians."
